TikTok Creative Center: Trends, Top Ads and How to Use It
Free, public and run by TikTok for Business, TikTok Creative Center is where you check which ads perform (Top Ads), what’s trending (Trends) and which AI tools TikTok offers for making ads (Symphony). You can open it without logging in, though TikTok recommends a login, and the logged-out view is thin: Top Ads shows only five ads.
What follows is the site as it stands now: what each part shows, the address it has moved to, TikTok’s own steps for reading a trending hashtag, and a way to turn a trend into a post of your own without copying anyone. Creative Center is a website for research; for the app you post in, see our guide to using TikTok.

What is TikTok Creative Center?
A free research site from TikTok for Business (Creative Centre, in British spelling). TikTok’s Business Help Center describes three parts: Checked against TikTok Business Help Center: About Creative Center (last updated July 2026)
- Top Ads: a collection of high-performing ads.
- Trends: trending hashtags. The live Trends page also had a Video tab at the latest check (details in the table below).
- Creative tools: Symphony Creative Studio, Symphony Automation and Symphony API, TikTok’s AI video tools for ads.
Top Ads and Symphony are built around paid ads. Trends is the part most useful for planning organic posts.
Is TikTok Creative Center free, and do you need to log in?
Yes, it’s free, and no, you don’t have to log in. TikTok says a login isn’t required to access Creative Center, but it recommends one so you can see all of its features, data and insights. Checked against TikTok Business Help Center: About Creative Center (last updated July 2026)
The difference is large. Logged out, Top Ads shows only five ads and Trends showed only its top three hashtags at the latest check; the “Logged out” column in the table below has the detail for each part. If you only want to browse, start logged out and see whether that’s enough.
Where is the official TikTok Creative Center now?
At ads.tiktok.com/creative/creativeCenter. The old address, ads.tiktok.com/business/creativecenter, now redirects there, and the redesigned front page leads with Symphony and Top Ads. TikTok’s own help articles still link the old address, so expect the redirect. Checked against TikTok Creative Center (redirect observed)
Both addresses are on TikTok’s own ads.tiktok.com domain. Sites elsewhere that collect TikTok ads are not TikTok’s Creative Center, and this guide links only TikTok’s own pages. For other changes TikTok has announced this year, see our log of TikTok updates.
What can you find in TikTok Creative Center?
Top Ads, two kinds of trends, and Symphony’s AI tools for ads. There’s no music chart. Here is each part as it appeared at the latest check; the Trends tabs and their defaults were read from one location, so they can differ by region and after you log in. TikTok’s help article doesn’t list which regions are offered: you pick one with the region filter.
| Part | What it shows | Logged out | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top Ads | High-performing ads, filtered by region, industry, campaign objective, likes and time frame (desktop adds ad language and ad format). Sort by reach, click-through rate or 2- and 6-second view rates; See Analytics shows a second-by-second performance graph. | Five ads only | Checked against TikTok Business Help Center: How to use the Top Ads Dashboard (last updated May 2025) |
| Trends: Hashtag tab | Trending hashtags for the region you choose (United States by default), over the last 7 days by default | Top three hashtags only | Checked against TikTok Creative Center: Trends (page read 2026-10-07) |
| Trends: Video tab | Trending videos for a region, over the last 30 days by default, with a pointer to TikTok One for more rankings | Not stated | As above |
| Trends: Creator tab | Marked “Coming soon” | — | As above |
| Songs | No songs or music tab; the old song-trends address redirects to Trends | — | As above |
| Creative tools | Symphony Creative Studio, Symphony Automation and Symphony API: AI video tools for ads | Not stated | Checked against TikTok Business Help Center: About Creative Center (last updated July 2026) |
TikTok One, the hub that the Video tab points to, also includes TikTok Creator Marketplace, where brands hire creators; it’s compared with Meta’s and YouTube’s tools in our guide to influencer marketing platforms. Brands looking for smaller creators there can follow TikTok’s own creator-search steps in our guide to micro influencers.

How do you find trending hashtags in Creative Center?
Log in, open Trends, narrow it by industry or time frame, then click See Analytics on a hashtag. That opens its trendline, related videos, audience insights, regional popularity and related hashtags. TikTok’s steps, in a browser:
On a computer:
- Log in to Creative Center.
- Click Trends.
- Search or filter by industry or time frame.
- Click See Analytics of any hashtag to learn more about its trendline, related videos, audience insights, regional popularity, and related hashtags.
Checked against TikTok Business Help Center: How to use Trends (last updated July 2026).
What to look for once a hashtag’s analytics are open:
- Trendline: a hashtag that is still climbing leaves you more time to make something than one that has already peaked.
- Related videos: study the format, the hook and the length, not the footage.
- Audience insights and regional popularity: check that the people using it look like the people you want to reach.
- Related hashtags: candidates for your caption. For how many to use and which kinds, see best hashtags for TikTok, or draft a set with our free TikTok hashtag generator.
Can you find trending songs in Creative Center?
No. At the latest check, Creative Center’s Trends page had no songs or music tab, and the old song-trends address redirected to the Trends page. Checked against TikTok Creative Center: Trends (page read 2026-10-07)
For music a business can use, TikTok’s answer is the Commercial Music Library: about 1 million pre-cleared songs, free for businesses, which TikTok says businesses should use for all commercial TikTok activity, including organic Duets, reacts and Stitches. On a Business Account, Add sound shows only these Commercial Sounds; on a personal account, choose Commercial Sounds from the Sounds dropdown. Checked against TikTok Business Help Center: How to use the Commercial Music Library Finding, saving and using sounds in the app is covered in our TikTok audio guide.
How to turn a Creative Center trend into your own post
Treat a trend as a brief, not a template: borrow the topic or the format, then make the video yourself.
- Pick a trend that fits you. Filter Trends by your industry and skip hashtags that have nothing to do with what you post.
- Watch the related videos for the pattern. Note the format, the hook and the length rather than anything you could lift.
- Make it original. TikTok’s originality policy treats copied content, largely repurposed content without creative edits, low-value compilations and videos with someone else’s visible watermark as unoriginal, and unoriginal content may be removed from the For You feed. Checked against TikTok Creator Academy: Understanding TikTok's Originality Policy Top Ads are other brands’ ads, and TikTok’s rules don’t allow posting someone else’s copyrighted content without permission. Checked against TikTok Help Center: Copyright
- Use music you’re allowed to use. For a business post, that means Commercial Sounds.
- Write the hook and caption, then post. Short of an angle? Our 45 TikTok video ideas each come with an opening line.
