TikTok Bio Generator

Twenty bios per click from your niche, your vibe and an optional call to action — every one fitted to TikTok's 80-character bio field, with the count shown. No signup.

Leave it blank and the generator uses your niche instead.

Pick your niche

Pick a vibe

The CTA is only kept when the whole bio still fits in 80 characters. If it doesn't fit, the generator drops it rather than cutting your bio off.

Pick a niche and a vibe, then hit Generate bios. You'll get 20 options — four in each style — all fitted to TikTok's 80-character bio field.

How the 80-character limit is applied

  • - 80 characters is the standard TikTok bio field, checked September 20, 2026. Some accounts report a wider field, so 80 is the safe planning number — a bio that fits 80 fits every account.
  • - Spaces, emoji and punctuation all count. The counter here counts by character, so one emoji costs one slot.
  • - If a bio plus your CTA would go over, the generator drops the CTA, then the emoji, and only trims on a word boundary as a last resort. Nothing is ever cut mid-word.
  • - 80 templates across five styles, shuffled on every click. Nothing you type is uploaded — the whole generator runs in your browser.

What this TikTok bio generator does

This free TikTok bio generator writes twenty bios at a time and guarantees every one of them fits. You choose a niche, pick a vibe, optionally type what you actually post about and a call to action, and the tool returns four bios in each of five styles — funny, professional, aesthetic, creator and business — with a live character count beside each one.

The limit is the whole point. Most bio generators hand back a nice-sounding sentence that turns out to be 140 characters long, and you only discover the problem when TikTok refuses to accept the back half of it. Here the fitting happens before you ever see the bio: if your call to action would push an option over the limit, the generator drops the call to action rather than your words, then the emoji, and only trims on a word boundary as an absolute last resort. Nothing is ever cut mid-word, and nothing is ever shown to you that TikTok would truncate.

Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, no paywall and no daily cap, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

The TikTok bio character limit, checked 20 September 2026

The standard TikTok bio field holds 80 characters. Spaces, punctuation and emoji all count against it. Checked on 20 September 2026, the published character-limit references agree on 80 as the baseline: Letter Counter's 2026 TikTok character limit guide lists the bio as "80-160", reflecting reports that TikTok has been widening the field for some accounts, and independent trackers of TikTok profile fields. TikTok does not publish the bio limit itself, so 80 is the observed consensus rather than a documented figure puts the bio at 80.

TikTok does not publish a single help-centre page stating the number, so both of those are secondary sources and the wider field is not something every account sees. That is exactly why this tool writes to 80 rather than to 160: a bio that fits 80 characters displays in full on every account, on every app version, today and after the rollout finishes. If your own Edit profile screen clearly lets you type more, treat the extra room as a bonus rather than something to plan around.

The bio is not the only limited field on your profile. The same Letter Counter guide, checked 20 September 2026, puts the TikTok display name at 30 characters and the username at 24 — which matters, because anything already said in your display name is a waste of bio characters. For comparison, an Instagram bio gives you 150 characters, close to double TikTok's, according to Sendible's Instagram character limit reference (checked 20 September 2026). So a bio you wrote for Instagram will almost always need cutting before it fits on TikTok.

What to put in your TikTok bio

Eighty characters buys you roughly twelve words. Spend them on three things and nothing else:

  • What you post. Be specific. "Home workouts" beats "fitness", "budget travel" beats "travel", "thrifted outfits under £20" beats "fashion". Specific words are also the words people type into TikTok search.
  • Who it's for, or who you are. A credential ("Vet nurse", "Licensed esthetician", "Med student") or an audience ("for busy parents", "for total beginners") does more work per character than an adjective.
  • One thing to do next. If you have a link, point at it once: "Free guide below", "Book in the link". If you do not have a link, do not waste the characters on "Follow for more" — it is the least persuasive sentence on TikTok.

Then cut. Delete your own name if the display name already carries it. Delete "content creator", "welcome to my page", and the list of three emoji separating two words. Put the most specific noun in the first few words, because the opening of your bio is what someone reads in the half-second between landing on your profile and deciding whether to tap follow.

How to change your TikTok bio

  1. Open TikTok and tap Profile in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Tap the Bio field.
  4. Type or paste your new bio — the app stops accepting input at the field's limit.
  5. Tap Save.

That last detail is the one that catches people out. A bio drafted in a notes app looks perfect until you paste it in and the end simply does not arrive. Generating it inside the limit in the first place, as this tool does, removes the problem entirely. You can change your bio as often as you like, and it is worth revisiting whenever your niche sharpens or your link changes.

Five TikTok bio templates you can fill in

If you would rather write your own, these five structures cover nearly every good TikTok bio. Each one stays inside 80 characters when you keep the variables short.

  • The specialist: [What you make] for [who it's for]. [CTA].
  • The credential: [Your role]. [What you post about] every [cadence].
  • The journey: [Starting point] to [goal]. Documenting all of it.
  • The promise: I [do the annoying thing] so you don't have to.
  • The offer: We help [audience] with [outcome]. [CTA].

Once your bio is settled, the rest of the profile should match it. Your username and display name carry the searchable version of the same idea — our TikTok username generator handles that side — and your captions carry the tone you set here. For those, the TikTok caption generator builds a hook, body, call to action and hashtags in one go, and our guide to TikTok captions that go viral explains what actually makes the first line work.

Keeping one voice across every platform

A bio is the shortest thing you will ever write and one of the hardest, because it has to carry your whole positioning in twelve words. The same problem repeats on every other profile you own, at a different length each time: 80 characters here, 150 on Instagram, a headline on LinkedIn. If you are writing all of them, the Instagram bio generator handles the 150-character version, and the social media bio generator does a cross-platform set in one pass. Photo posts need the same tone in longer form — our photo captions guide covers that. Everything else we make is in the free tools library.

Where Outfeed AI comes in is after the bios are written. It is a chat-first social media manager: you tell an assistant what you want to post and it writes, previews, schedules and publishes across nine platforms including TikTok, learning your brand voice so the captions sound like the bio you just chose rather than like a different company. Every plan includes a 3-day free trial with 100 AI credits — a card is required, with no charge today, and you can cancel any time. The tools on this page stay free either way: no account, no trial, no card, no expiry.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many characters can a TikTok bio be?

The standard TikTok bio field holds 80 characters, and spaces, punctuation and emoji all count towards it. Checked on 20 September 2026, published character-limit references agree on 80 as the baseline, with some reporting that TikTok has been widening the field for certain accounts to as much as 160 characters. Because the wider field is not universal, 80 is the number worth writing to: a bio that fits 80 characters displays in full on every account, while a longer one may be cut off. This generator fits every option to 80 and shows you the count.

Is this TikTok bio generator free?

Yes. There is no signup, no login, no daily limit and no card. The whole generator ships inside the page and runs in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded or stored anywhere. Generate as many bios as you like, copy the ones you want, and close the tab. It is one of the free tools on outfeed.ai, all of which work the same way.

What should I put in my TikTok bio?

Three things, in this order: what you post about, who it is for, and what to do next. With 80 characters you cannot have a mission statement, so cut anything that is not one of those three. Skip your real name if your display name already carries it, skip generic words like 'content creator', and put the specific thing you make first, because the opening words are what people read before deciding to follow. If you have a link, one short call to action such as 'Free guide below' earns its space. If you do not, spend the characters on clarity instead.

How do I change my TikTok bio?

Open TikTok, tap Profile in the bottom-right, tap Edit profile, then tap the Bio field, type or paste your new bio, and tap Save. The app stops you typing once you reach the field's limit, which is why a bio written elsewhere can look fine in a notes app and then get truncated when you paste it. Generating the bio inside the limit, as this tool does, avoids that. You can change your bio as often as you want, and it is worth updating it whenever your niche or your link changes.
