How to see who liked your Instagram post depends on what you posted. Instagram’s help says you generally find a post’s likes below it. On a video, tap the view count below it first: from there you see the number of likes and who’s liked it. Hiding your like count never hides your own total, and each comment has its own list behind the like count under it.

After 4 likes, Instagram says, a photo shows the number of likes there, with some usernames of people you follow who liked it. How to see who liked your Reel or video
Tap the view count below the video first. Instagram’s instruction is written for videos: “To see how many likes a post of a video has, first tap the view count below the video. Can you see who liked your post if like counts are hidden?
Yes, you still see the total. Hiding the like count on your post hides it from other people, not from you: Instagram says you’ll still be able to see the total number of likes on your own posts. The opposite problem has a simple cause. Partly. Instagram says a like is visible to anyone who can see the post, and after 4 likes, a photo shows the number with some usernames of people you follow who liked it. That works in both directions. If your account is private and you like a public post, your like is visible to everyone and your username is clickable, though only your approved followers can see your posts. How to see who liked a comment
Tap the number of likes below the comment. The same steps cover liking one: tap the heart to its right, or double tap the comment. On a computer, the steps are the same with click and double click.
On iPhone:
- Tap Like to the right of the comment, or double tap on the comment.
- To unlike, tap Like again. Tap the number of likes below the comment to see who's liked it.

Your activity > Likes shows the 300 most recent posts you’ve liked. Instagram’s steps are the same on iPhone and Android:
On iPhone:
- Tap Profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap Menu in the top right.
