Threads Search: How to Find Posts, People and Topics
Threads search, in Meta’s Threads app and at threads.com, finds two things: profiles, by name or username, and posts, by keyword. For posts, a filters menu at the right of the search bar narrows results by date (After date, Before date) and by account (From profile), and tapping any topic tag opens search results for that topic.
Meta’s Help Center and the official @threads account are the sources for each step. If you’re new to the app, read what Threads is first. Doing a thread search on X instead? See our X advanced search guide and what changed when Twitter became X.
