Data Deletion Instructions

Blox Labs Inc. ("Outfeed AI," "we," "us," or "our") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your account, your content, and any information we store about you or your connected social media accounts.

1. What Gets Deleted

When you request data deletion, we remove the following from our systems:

  • Account information: name, email, password hash, profile settings, and organization membership.
  • Connected social media accounts: OAuth tokens, platform user IDs, and any cached profile or analytics data from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, and Bluesky.
  • Content data: drafts, scheduled posts, published post records, AI chat history, uploaded media files, and brand voice training data.
  • Usage data: product analytics events associated with your account identifier.

1.1 What Is NOT Affected by Deletion

  • Content already published to social media platforms remains on those platforms. You must delete those posts from each platform directly — we cannot remove them on your behalf after publishing.
  • Billing records required for legal, accounting, or tax compliance are retained for up to seven (7) years as required by applicable law.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be associated with you personally may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes.

2. How to Request Deletion

Choose any of the following methods. All requests are processed within thirty (30) days.

2.1 Self-Service (Recommended)

  1. Sign in to your account at app.outfeed.ai.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Click Delete Account and follow the confirmation prompts.

Self-service deletion begins immediately and completes within 30 days, after which all personal data is removed from active systems. For 30 days after the request, the account can be restored by contacting support if deletion was accidental.

2.2 By Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer to make the request in writing, email us at [email protected] with:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request
  • The email address associated with your Outfeed AI account
  • (Optional) The specific platforms or data categories you want deleted, if you do not want full account deletion

We will confirm the request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of verification.

3. Disconnecting a Single Social Media Account

If you want to remove only a specific connected platform (e.g., only your Instagram account) without deleting your Outfeed AI account:

  1. Sign in to app.outfeed.ai.
  2. Go to Accounts in the sidebar.
  3. Click the platform you want to disconnect and choose Remove Account.

When you disconnect a platform, we immediately revoke the OAuth access token with that platform and delete the stored token, platform user ID, and any cached profile data from our systems.

4. Deletion Triggered by the Social Platform

If you remove Outfeed AI as an authorized app directly from the social platform's settings (for example, through Facebook's Business Integrations, Instagram's Apps and Websites, or X's Connected Apps), the platform notifies us via webhook. We then:

  • Mark the connection as revoked in our database.
  • Delete the stored OAuth tokens for that platform.
  • Remove cached profile data, follower/engagement metrics, and analytics data that we received from that platform.

This deletion happens automatically within 24 hours of the platform notification. No action is required from you.

4.1 Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) Deletion Callback

Outfeed AI implements Meta's Data Deletion Callback protocol. When you remove the Outfeed AI app from your Meta account, Meta sends a signed deletion request to our webhook. We verify the request, delete all data associated with your Meta user ID within 24 hours, and provide a confirmation URL and deletion code that you can use to verify the deletion status.

To check the status of a Meta-initiated deletion request, email [email protected] with your deletion code and we will confirm the current status.

5. Data Retention After Deletion

After a deletion request is completed, we retain only the minimum information required by law:

  • Financial and billing records: retained for seven (7) years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • Security logs and audit trails: retained for up to twelve (12) months for fraud prevention and security investigations, in a form that cannot be used to identify you.
  • Backup media: encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and fully purged of deleted data within 90 days.

6. Response Timeline

  • Self-service deletion: begins immediately; completes within 30 days.
  • Email request: acknowledged within 5 business days; completed within 30 days of verification.
  • Platform-initiated deletion (e.g., Meta callback): completed within 24 hours.

Applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA) may require faster response in some jurisdictions. If you are a resident of such a jurisdiction, please state this in your request and we will comply with the applicable statutory timeline.

7. Identity Verification

To protect you from fraudulent deletion requests, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing an email request. Verification may include responding from the email address on file, providing your account ID, or completing a verification link we send. We will not ask for your password, payment details, or any information not already associated with your account.
